About

Scribora Publishing was born from a desire to publish books that might otherwise never be seen or read. Books that touch us deeply in our hearts. Journeys. Memoirs. Poetry.

How it began

In August of 2025, I began working with Richard Murray to gather his best writings from the web and turn them into a book. I had no idea what I was doing, but I knew that his deeply moving words belonged in a book, not just on Facebook.

After combing through over 160,000 words, and two months of editing it down to 34,000 words, we had a book. Dances With the Lamb is now being considered for publication by one of the Big Five publishers.

That's when I realized how many other friends had words that also deserved to be on a bookshelf, but their words would be ignored by the "big guys."

I created Scribora Publishing to bring those words to life.

My background

I've spent a lifetime in sales, marketing, management, and design. Check out my LinkedIn.

From 2003 to 2019, I owned and operated a web hosting company that served over 700 insurance agents. It was there that I honed my design skills. Over the years, I also wrote hundreds of business articles for my clients to help them "rank" in search engine results.

I sold my business and retired in 2019 and have been spending time with my eight kids and 22 grandchildren. I find that I keep picking up "projects" to help people along the way. Like helping Richard birth his book.

I've always been a writer, and have published hundreds of blog posts over the years, often under pseudonyms. My Facebook friends have known me as a prolific author.

It is on Facebook (follow me here) that I have written my deepest emotional and reflective work. I've published over 19,000 posts in 15 years on Facebook. Most of my inner-life and reflective posts are available only to "Friends" and are not public. It is there that I wrote about my mental health, my deconstruction, and my journey "home."

I am currently working on my memoir and hope to publish it early next year.

Scribora Publishing is more than a business to me. It's my calling.
